A handmade custom Strat with an aged yellow two tone relic finish a genuine old California license plate pickguard from the 70s and California themed collage embedded into the finish on the neck and body. Genuine alder solid body and maple neck with jumbo frets ,smoothed to perfection.This is a custom guitar work of art that took more than a month to complete. It doesn’t just look great, it sounds one of a kind. With 2 Seymour Duncan ssl-1 pickups in the neck and middle(middle pickup is reverse wound)and a high output ssl-5 in the bridge in a Fender American 5 way switch configuration,
0.47 orange drop capacitor. 250k pots.This guitar has one of the sweetest configurations, simple but versatile, capable of replicating that strat tone unique to Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson etc.

Every detail has been attended to on The Calicaster. The floating bridge has been set up for perfect intonation and a two pivot system that allows for pitch to be bent up and down. Bridge is a modern style Strat bridge. Vintage style locking tuners have been customized to match the California theme. All cavities have been lined with copper tape to minimize strat hum.The bone nut is handmade to play cleanly with the neck. The metal hardware and pickup covers have been aged to perfection for that slightly worn used look. The body has also been uniquely reliced for an old white fence look. It has 3 real bottle caps as the tone and volume knobs, and even the switch cap has mojo. Slightly reliced strap buttons have also been installed although not shown in the pics as they were in the process of relicing. The collage reflects a vintage 1950s California theme that gives this strat a one of a kind vibe. Each fret has a unique piece as well, while the back has an entire map of California north to south with burn marks for an aged effect.

I can honestly say that there is no guitar in the world like this one. Seriously, look for one, you won’t find anything close. On top of being a unique work of art, the Calicaster comes with a beautiful top end tone.
