Overview

This TL-style bass guitar is a one-of-a-kind creation steeped in history and craftsmanship. Built using 200-year-old reclaimed barnwood, we wanted to recreate the Cross of Christ and Crucifixion. Featuring intricate details, including Roman numeral fret markers, aged hardware, and an antique nail embedded through the central motif of Jesus’ hand, this instrument is both a stunning work of art and a fully functional, comfortable, and wonderfully sounding  bass guitar.

•Body: TL-style body crafted from 200-year-old reclaimed barnwood. The aged wood texture and grain give it a time-worn, rugged aesthetic.

•Scale Length: 34 inches – standard for bass guitars, offering excellent playability and tone.

•Neck: Aged maple wood construction with a smooth, playable finish, designed for durability and comfort.

•Fingerboard: Rosewood with Roman numeral (I–XII) for fret markers, adding a unique and historical touch. 9.5 inch radius, medium jumbo frets

•Hardware: All hardware is aged nickel, enhancing the vintage look and feel of the instrument.

•Pickup: Handwound single-coil bass pickup for a clear, punchy tone that complements the natural resonance of the aged wood.

• Symbolic Details

•Jesus’ Hand Motif: Embedded in the design is a real antique nail, driving through the hand illustration to evoke the Passion of Christ.

•Inscripted Writing: The text is the Hebrew sign that was placed above Jesus’ head (“Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”).

•Christian Fish Carving: The headstock features a hand-carved Ichthys (Christian fish), symbolizing the earliest mark of the Christian faith. Every detail of this bass is a testament to artistry, faith, and history. This is a statement piece, perfect for players, collectors, and believers alike.
